GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
DESCRIBE ONLINE |
This is a through station on the line between Edinburgh Waverley and Falkirk Grahamston.
The station serves services to Glasgow, Stirling and Dunblane (westbound) and Edinburgh Waverley (eastbound).
There are two separate platforms, running approximately east/west. Platform 1, eastbound lies north of the tracks, whilst platform 2, westbound, lies to the south.
A bridge, with stairs and ramp access joins the platforms, towards the west end of the station.
Note that the station can only be entered from the south side (platform 2) and that this is an unmanned station.
There is stairs and ramp access throughout this station. We therefore believe the station is accessible to guide dog and wheelchair users.
There are RNIB REACT beacons near the entrance/exit, beside the steps to the bridge and near the end of each platform. See the detailed descriptions of platform 1 and platform 2 for details.
