The tracks run east/west through the station serving seven platforms, numbered 0 through 7, excluding 5, from north to south. Platforms 1 - 2, 3 - 4, and 6 - 7 share island platforms, whilst platform 0 is a single platform lying west of the concourse building.
The rectangular concourse lies beneath platform 1 and the tracks serving platforms 1 and 0. Two corridors lead south from the concourse, beneath the other platforms. The main (west) corridor leads to stairs access up to platforms 1 to 7, whilst the second (east) corridor leads to the lifts. The short corridor leading towards platform 0 leaves the west side of the concourse.
Note that whilst there are two lifts serving platforms 1 - 2 and 3 - 4, there is only one lift, on the right-hand (west) side of the corridor serving platforms 6 - 7.
This station has level access to and through the concourse and via lifts to platforms 1 to 7. There is step-free access to platform 0 from the car park to the west of the station forecourt.
There is also stairs access up to the platforms 1 to 7, from the main corridor, and to platform 0 from the concourse.
