Assuming the anti-clockwise traffic flow through the station, we presume the steps up to the right (west) are the entrance. Go up 15 then 15 steps, going west, from the main corridor, onto the middle of the island platform.
Assuming the anti-clockwise traffic flow through the station, we presume the steps going down to the west are the exit. From the middle of the island platform, go down 15 then 15 steps, going west, into the main corridor.
This is a shorter platform, about 40 metres shorter to the east than platforms 1 to 4. It is also a narrower platform than that for platforms 1 to 4.
There is clear tactile paving along each edge of the platform and a metal drainage grating runs along the middle of the open sections. There is no tactile paving at the foot or top of the steps between the platform and the main corridor. Neither set of steps has a central rail.
All features are in the middle of the island unless stated otherwise.
Since the buildings exhibit different features on each platform, we've departed from our usual practice and described the buildings in total rather than as isolated features along each platform.

There are railings round the east, north and south sides, there's a normally closed gate on the west.
You'd go down 16 steps, going east, turn right and go down 11 steps, going south towards the east exit. We had an excellent view of the Brain's Brewery from here, slightly west of south.

The east (exit) steps are immediately followed by the second building and the west (entrance) steps.
