In the right-hand half of the area beyond the gate line in the entrance to platforms 8 to 11, platform 8 is to the right, platform 9 straight ahead. Platform 8 extends back beside the ramp for some way. Although part of this area is not for public access, some trains extend back beyond the foot of the ramp. Both platforms have a tactile strip near the edge.
