THE INTERMEDIATE LEVEL |
DESCRIBE ONLINE |
This is the section of the station which lies between the low level concourse and platforms 14 and 15. Passages lead from the foot of the escalator, steps and lift towards the platforms. There's a second lift, between the intermediate level and the island platform 14 and 15.
From the low level concourse, you can go down the escalator, going west, or go down 10 steps, going south, turn right (180 degrees) then down 10 steps, going north, or take the lift. The foot of both escalator and steps share a common area at the junction of the two passages, whilst that of the lift is in the passage leading west from this area.

Beyond the gap is a space with blank doors, of no interest to the public.
The passage leads west, through swing doors which were open at the time of our survey. After about twenty metres, the passage turns left (south) ending at the top of the lift between here and the platforms (to your left, east) and the west steps down to the platforms, (to your right, west).
The only feature of interest within the passage is the foot of the lift from the concourse, on your right (north) side, as you approach the corner.
