The normal way to reach platform 12 is to turn right beyond the Virgin Trains customer lounge. Just before the south end of the Virgin Trains customer lounge are two benches. Turn right, cross the road over which pedestrians have priority, pass the short stay parking, then turn left. Alternatively, you can cross the road beyond the building housing the escalators to the low level. The ends of tracks 12 and 13 are about 6 metres south of those of tracks 10 and 11.
Platform 12 continues south, with short stay car parking to your left, past the well for the road as it slopes down towards the vehicle exit in Oswald Street. All other features are in common with platform 11A.
There is no tactile paving near the edge of this platform.
