GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
DESCRIBE ONLINE |
This is a through station in the Glasgow Subway which runs approximately northwest/southeast through the station.
There are two separate platforms, with that for the inner circle lying northeast of that for the outer. Escalators from the concourse lead to the southeast end of each platform, whilst those to the concourse leave from the northwest ends.
You enter the rectangular concourse to either side of the kiosk, with the ticket sales window in the middle of the far wall. The gate line towards the inner circle is on the left-hand side, whilst that for the outer circle is on the right.
Inside each gate line, turn away from the entrance towards the downward escalator. The upward escalator is behind you. A barrier partially separates the entrance and exit portions of this space.
There is escalator-only access through this station, so we believe it is only accessible to Guide Dog owners if they arrange for an escalator to be stopped. The station is not accessible to wheelchairs.
