There are four ticket machines, not accessible to vision impaired people, on the left-hand (north) wall of the booking hall, as you enter the station.
The ticket sales window, with a steel counter, is towards the right-hand end of the far wall, this is not to be confused with the travel centre window which faces the entrance.
The station is open between 6:30 am and 11:20 pm.
Holders of concessionary cards (disabled and over 60) are required to buy a 40p concession ticket, whilst blind people with passes are encouraged to collect a free ticket from the sales window. The free tickets are single journey tickets which operate the automatic gates.
