There are three automatic entrances and two automatic exits in each gate line.

In the main entrance, the gates you need are towards your right-hand end of the gate line, whilst at the north entrance, they're towards your left.

Note that the manual gate is at the right-hand end of each gate line as you enter the station.

Note, unlike those on the London Underground, the direction of these gates is fixed and there is no ticket slot on the no-entry side. Note also that expired tickets are returned, rather than captured by the machine as you complete your journey.
