There is escalator access between Great Western Road and the booking hall and thence from the booking hall to the intermediate level which is 16 steps above the level of the platform.

The left-hand escalator is the one you need for both sets. Note that whilst there are central steps between escalators leading down from the booking hall, there are none between the escalators from Great Western Road.
