The station is on the north side of Euston Road, (east/west), between Pancras Road (north/south) to the west and York Way (north/south) to the east. The station is bounded to the north by Goods Way, details of which lie beyond the scope of this survey.
We noted six entrances/exits to this station. At the time of our survey, extensive building work was in progress and details of these may be subject to change.
This entrance is from a forecourt on the north side of Euston Road. The entrance is divided into two sections which we'll call the west and east sections of this entrance. You enter the station on the left-hand (west) side of the main concourse.
This is the side entrance from Pancras Road. At the time of our survey, you left Pancras Road, going east between temporary hoardings, till you reach the wall of the station building. Turn left (north) here towards the side entrance, where you turn right (east) and continue into the main concourse, a few metres north of the new entrance to the Underground station. Note also, that on reaching the station wall, you can turn right (south) and follow the building round to the left, towards the main entrance, this was the easiest way to reach the taxi pick-up point from the main entrance at the time of our survey.
You leave Pancras road going east, passing the entrance to the Northern Concourse of the Underground station to your right and a temporary ticket sales booth, with two windows, to your left. You continue (east) between hoardings, passing the two sections of the gate line to the Suburban section, platforms 9 - 11 to your left, then continue onto platform 8.
This is the side entrance from York Way. You leave York Way (going west) into the main concourse, entering south of platform 1, continue across the concourse to the London Underground exit and ticket office.
You follow the cobbled path from York Way, which leads you onto platform 1.
From the Level -1 passage of the Underground station, you enter the concourse, a few metres north of the ticket office, facing east, towards the wall around the former entrance.
At the time of our survey, there were no rotating cones at this complex and busy junction. We therefore suggest you find alternative routes, such as the south side of Euston Road, which can be reached via the Underground concourse, or the crossing east of Midland Road.
This is a two-stage crossing with tactile paving throughout. As you cross from either side of Pancras Road, the post with push button and rotating cone is to your right as you face the crossing. On reaching the central island, turn right then left. There's a post with push button and rotating cone to either side of you as you leave the island in either direction.
We found several sections of tactile paving during our survey whose purpose was obscured by building work. We can report, however, that there's a zebra crossing leading towards the main entrance to St Pancras Station, you need to cross the taxi lane to reach this. On reflection, we suggest you cross Pancras Road at the crossing mentioned above, and enter the station via the Underground entrance whilst building work continues.
There are two bus stops outside the main entrance to the station. Having left via the main entrance, turn left and follow the right-hand side of the pavement. Passengers must buy their ticket before boarding, there are ticket machines beside these bus stops.
This is the first bus stop, serving buses towards Blackfriars 45, 46, 53 N63 and coach 748.
This is the second bus stop, outside Boots, serving buses towards the Angel Islington, 30, 73, 476, 205, 214 and N73. Routes 205 and 214 are 24 hour services.
The drop-off point is in York Way, outside the east entrance to the station.
The pick-up point is on Pancras Road, at the end of a temporary walkway from the west or main entrance. Although this walkway seemed temporary at the time of our survey. We believe the shelter and queuing arrangements are permanent.
You queue from the south, go round the end of the barrier to your left then queue south towards the pick-up point. The pavement is marked taxi 1, taxi 2 and taxi 3. There are gaps in the barrier so people can go straight through if there’s little or no queue. A metal rail with a post, saying taxis, marks the south end of this area.

At the time of our survey, the pavement south of here was blocked by building works.

The rail continues east, beyond the door to the waiting room, to the end of the waiting room building. At the time of our survey, it wasn't clear whether this waiting room is to be a permanent feature.
You enter via automatic doors, facing south, into an area towards the west end of this space.

This area is bounded to the north, by the station building, to the west by the waiting room, walkway from Pancras Road and the entrance to the Underground station and to the south by Euston Road. The pavement extends east beyond this area to York Way.

There are two bus stops on the south side of the forecourt, the east stop, outside the Left Luggage office, Stop E serving buses towards the Angel Islington, 30, 73, 476, 205, 214 and N73. Passengers must buy their ticket before boarding, there are ticket machines beside these bus stops. Routes 205 and 214 are 24 hour services. The west stop, Bus Stop D, serving buses towards Blackfriars 45, 46, 53 N63 and coach 748.
The entrance to the Underground station is north of the waiting room. The recess to the lift is north of the steps into the Underground concourse, the call button for the lift (down only) is to your left (south) of the door.

The crossing of York Way is not accessible and we advise you to take alternative routes to go east from this junction.
Note, there is another entrance from York Way onto platform 1, beyond the building works.
