Platform 8 is divided into four sections A through D, from west to east, such that the A and B sections are beside platform 6, and the area inside the gates, whilst the C and D sections are beside the station building and platform 7.
Platform 7 starts beside the goods lift, some distance east of the steps from the east bridge.
Go through the gates and turn left, following the building on your left, onto platform 8B. Turn left and continue, beyond the building, past the steps from the east bridge, to the goods lift then find platform 7 to your left.
Platform 7B is north of platform 8D.
