This area runs north/south across the west ends of platforms 1 to 12 and the route to platforms 13 and 14.

The west side contains automatic doors, one pair per platform, such that:

• Platforms 1, 10, 11 and 12 have a single pair of doors.
• Platforms 13 and 14 have a single pair of doors, between the doors to platforms 10 and 11.
• The other platforms have two pairs of doors, one per platform, separated by a triangular information column with the sharp end pointing east (towards the platforms) at shoulder height.
• As platforms 11 and 12 extend west beyond the line established by the start of the other platforms, the gates to these are set back (west) into the concourse.

There's a number of departure screens above the beginning of each platform. Typically, there are two towards the middle and one towards each edge of island platforms.

We found no other features of interest in this area at the time of our survey.
