FIND AN EXIT FROM A PLATFORM

DESCRIBE ONLINE

Overview

This is a terminus station. The doors will open on your right (for odd number platforms) or left (for even) as you face the front of the train. There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

Platforms 4 - 6 are shorter platforms, which lead onto platform 3.

To the Concourse

Move beyond the front of the train. From platforms 4 - 6, you'll find a wall, with bike racks, in front of you. Move left of this and continue forward along platform 3.

Continue forward, on platforms 1 - 3 to the gate line. The gate line is divided into two sections, there's a building with an excess fare window between these.

There's a bi-directional Wide Aisle Gate to each side of this building, which you may as well use as the direction of the automatic gates may vary according to the time of day. Go through the gates.

To Which Exit?

  To the Main Exit
To the Harewood Avenue Exit
To the Underground Station

To the Main Exit

The exit is in the left-hand side of the far wall of the concourse. It may be easier to turn left, continue to the wall then follow the left-hand side of the concourse to the exit.

Go through the doors onto Melcombe Place, the taxi rank is a few metres to your right, outside the Marylebone Hotel.

GO TO END

To the Harewood Avenue Exit

The exit is towards the far end of the right-hand side of the concourse. It may be easier to move to your right, locate the wall of the ticket sales office then move away from the gate line. We suggest you cross the passage on your right, to avoid all the tables, before turning right and followign the left-hand side of the passage to the end. Turn right then take the turning left, through the doors onto Harewood Avenue.

GO TO END

To the Underground Station

Turn right and continue towards the gate line to the Underground station. If you need a ticket, the sales windows are to your left just before the gate line. See our guide to Marylebone Underground Station for details of your route to the Bakerloo Line.
