Metal gates at each end of the bridge can be used to close the station.

The path slopes up, going south from Terregles Avenue onto the bridge, then slopes down, south into Fotheringay Road.

A wooden barrier runs along the west side.

In the middle of the bridge, there's a covered area at the top of the steps which descend eastwards onto the island platform.
