This island platform is divided into platform 3, GNER northbound which lies east of platform 4, WAGN northbound.
A row of stanchions supporting the overhead cables runs along platform 3, whilst a series of posts, about a metre high runs along platform 4. It appears that the latter may be used to close off this platform under some circumstances.
There is no tactile paving towards either edge of this platform.
A drainage channel runs along the platform, on platform 3, to the building. This channel resumes beyond (south of) the lift.
From the bridge, go down 3 x 13 steps, going north onto the island platform. Platform 3, GNER northbound is to your right, you're about in the middle of the platform. Note the low (two metre) head clearance towards the bottom of the first and second flights of steps. There is tactile paving at the top and foot of these steps.
