As you enter the station, the ticket sales/assistance window is on the left-hand side of the booking hall, immediately before you reach the gate line.
The station is open between 6:30 am and 11:20 pm.
Holders of concessionary cards (disabled and over 60) are required to buy a 40p concession ticket, whilst blind people with passes are encouraged to collect a free ticket from the sales window. The free tickets are single journey tickets which operate the automatic gates.
As you leave the ticket sales window, turn right. The gate line is in front of you with the two automatic entrance gates at the left-hand end and the manual gate at the right.
Go through the gates, continue down either the left-hand escalator or two flights of steps to the intermediate level. Turn left (180 degrees), follow the passage which turns right, go down four steps before you turn right again and go down another flight of steps onto the platform.
You're on an island platform, about three metres wide with no tactile paving along the edges. The inner circle is to your right, you're near the front of the train, whilst the outer circle is to your left, you're near the rear.
