The station is on the south side of the traffic-free section of West Street. Scotland Street runs northwest from the beginning of the traffic-free section of West Street, defining a triangular forecourt outside the station. The mainline railway bridge crosses West Street a few metres west of the station, beyond the scope of this survey.
The station has one entrance/exit leading south from the forecourt. The forecourt has flower beds and bike racks (on the west side). This forecourt is the traffic-free portion of West Street plus the triangular space between it and Scotland Street.
