Layout

The three lifts between the subway and platform level have the call button to your right as you face the door at each level. Inside the lift, immediately to your left are three buttons. From the top, these are: Alarm, Operate and Open Doors.

Location

• On platform 3, the lift is outside the southwest corner of the GNER lounge, beyond the gap leading towards the subway, you enter facing east. In the subway, you come out facing west, to your right (north) of the steps from platform 3.
• On platform 5, the lift is located in the middle of the island platform 5 and 6, just south of the Platform 5 Concourse. You enter facing south. In the subway, you come out facing north, with the steps from platform 5 almost in front of you. Turn right towards platform 1 to 4, left towards platforms 10 and 11.
• On platforms 10 and 11, the lift is in the middle of the island platform, between the foot of the south steps from the bridge and the back of the stairs leading into the subway, you enter facing north. In the subway, you come out facing south with the steps from platforms 10 and 11 in front of you. Turn left towards platforms 5 to 9, continue to the end for platforms 1 to 4.

Goods Lifts

The goods lifts which leave each island platform are only operated by staff and are not normally available to the public.
