Glasgow’s International Exhibitions – in 1888 and 1901, Glasgow held huge international exhibitions, celebrating its place as Second City of the Empire.

This is distributed around the walkways of the First Floor, though the principal focus on the Glasgow Exhibition of 1888 is on the south side of the building.
