Our route takes us north along the left-hand side of Yoker Ferry Road, to Dumbarton Road, which we cross then turn left. We turn right at the next set of traffic lights, into Mill Road, which we cross and follow the left-hand side to Yoker Station.

As you step off the ferry, the exit from the Yoker Landing is in front of you, continue through the gate, turn left and continue to the kerb in front of you then turn right. You're now on the west side of Yoker Ferry Road.
Continue, across an entrance, following the fence then wall on your left, until you reach Dumbarton Road, turn left here.
Continue, along the south side of Dumbarton Road, crossing: the entrance to a garage, the entrance to a building site and a gap in the pavement (not for public access), before you reach Bus Stop 6090441.
We understand these buses turn right into Mill Road and can stop at Bus Stop 608063, before Clydeholm Terrace.
Get off the bus, turn right and continue, across Clydeholm and Yokerburn terraces. From here you can turn left, towards platform 1, westbound; continue and enter the station via the bridge, or go to the far side of the bridge and use the entrance to platform 2, eastbound.
Cross Dumbarton Road, the post with push button and rotating cone is to your right as you face across the crossing. Turn left and continue past:
We suggest you continue to the crossing at the junction of Dumbarton and Mill roads, as there's a better crossing at this point. Cross Mill Road, the junction has a sounder, but no roatating cones or tactile paving at this crossing, the post with push button is to your right. Turn right, pass the bus stop, then cross Clydeholm and Yokerburn terraces. From here you can turn left, towards platform 1, westbound; continue and enter the station via the bridge, or go to the far side of the bridge and use the entrance to platform 2, eastbound.
As you step off the Ferry, the shelter is in front of you and the exit from the Renfrew Landing is behind this. Having gone through the gate, Clyde Street leaves to your right, whilst Ferry Road continues (south) in front of you. We suggest that, if you wish to go along Ferry Road, you move to your right then cross Clyde Street, as the area to your left can be blocked by vehicles.
Unlike the Yoker side, where the station provides a good focus for our routes, there isn't the same provision on the Renfrew side of the river. The road network offers options to reach the Braehead Retail Park and Renfrew town centre, both of which lie beyond the scope of this survey.
Clyde Street follows the river, running west from the gate of the Renfrew Landing, whilst Ferry Road runs south from here.
Bus Stop 641087 is about 30 metres from the corner.
Cross London Street, with no pedestrian controlled crossing.
Cross Meadowside Street, opposite Braehead Road. This road was marked as closed at the time of our survey, though there was a pedestrian controlled crossing, with push button and rotating cone to your right as you cross in either direction.
You pass a sign across the pavement with a post on each side, then cross Campbell Street, with no pedestrian controlled crossing.
Locate Bus Stop 614086.
As you continue south, you cross Orchard Street. This is a wide crossing with no pedestrian control. Beyond this is Bus Stop 614085.
As you move away from the corner, which can be obstructed by vehicles, you reach the pavement which runs beside the fence on the left-hand side. There's a bus stop with shelter, no. 614089, about 40 metres from the corner. The fence continues beyond the shelter, you cross an entrance, not for public access.
The pavement is tree lined along the kerb side. As you continue south, you pass:
The sign indicates town centre straight ahead, Braehead to the left and road closed to the right.
Beyond this sign is tactile paving indicating a crossing of Ferry Road.
There is tactile paving and push buttons with rotating cones at all crossings. The post is to your right as you cross in either direction at each crossing.
A few metres beyond the junction is Bus Stop 61401090
The pavement has a grass verge to each side. After a few metres, you'll locate Bus Stop 61401098 on your left.
Beyond this, tactile paving indicates the crossing of Braehead Road, the crossing has rotating cones and the post is to your right as you cross in either direction. This preceeds the junction between Braehead Road (east/west) and a road leading north into what was a building site at the time of our survey.
The crossing of this road had a post with rotating cone to each side at either end of the crossing. The junction is followed by another crossing of Braehead Road with post and cone to each side.
Beyond this junction, is Bus Stop 61401079, which is the limit of our survey.
