Overview

There are two lifts in the Underground station, one between the Underground Concourse and each platform.

Inside the Lifts

There are clear spoken announcements.

There’s a control pannel on each side with buttons arranged in three rows:

• Top, 1 = Concourse
• Middle, 0 = Platform
• Bottom:
• Left = Alarm
• Middle = Open Doors
• Right = Close Doors

To Platform 1, Westbound

At Concourse Level

The lift is at the far end of a short passage leading east from the bridge, near the south end. The call button (Down) is to your right (south) of the door. You go in facing east.

At Platform Level

The lift is on the left-hand (east) side of a short passage leading south from the platform, near the east end. The call button (Up) is to your right (south) of the door. You go in facing east.

To Platform 2, Eastbound

At Concourse Level

The lift is on the left-hand (north) side of a short passage leading east from the bridge, near the north end. The call button (Down) is to your right (east) of the door. You go in facing north.

At Platform Level

The lift is at the end of a short passage leading north from the platform, near the east end. The call button (Up) is to your right (east) of the door. You go in facing north.
