This is an island platform, running approximately east/west with platform 5, eastbound lying north of platform 6, westbound. This platform lies beneath platforms 1 - 2, but is slightly offset to the east.
The emergency stairs exit to platform 1 and lifts to/from the Earl's Court Road concourse are near the middle of the platform, whilst the escalators to/from the intermediate level are towards the west end.

Note that the lift brings you into the second passage from the east end of the platform, platform 5 is to your right, you're about in the middle of the train. Platform 6 is to your left, you're about in the middle of the train.
From the foot of the escalators, platform 5 is to your left, you're near the rear of the train, platform 6 is to your right, you're near the front. Note that for platform 6, you need to continue forward a few metres from the foot of the escalators.
The exit to the lifts is the first passage from the east end of the platform. Note that at concourse level, you can leave via either set of doors.
The escalators are near the west end of the platform, the right-hand escalator is normally the one you need. See the intermediate level page for details.
