Overview

The following recommendations are intended to maintain the anti-clockwise flow of traffic through the station.

Note that, on all platforms in this station, train doors open on your left as you face the front of the train. There is no tactile paving along the edge of the platforms.

From Which Platform?

From Platform 1, London Underground, Eastbound

Go towards the rear of the train and locate the stairs to the west bridge, in front of you. Go up two flights of stairs onto the bridge and turn left.

To Which Platform?

To Platform 2, London Underground, Westbound

Take the first turning left and, using the right hand set of stairs, descend two flights and turn left onto the platform, you're near the front of the train.

To Platform 3, FCC, Southbound

Take the first turning left and, using the right hand set of stairs, go down two flights of stairs and follow the right hand wall. At the time of our survey, there were tempoarary hoardings around building works. You can, however, continue beyond these, take the first turning right, turn right again and go down six steps onto the platform. You're near the rear of the train.

To Platform 4, FCC, Northbound

Continue across the bridge and go down nine steps before turning right, down a flight of steps then turn right (180 degrees) and go down another flight to platform level. Turn left onto the platform, you're near the front of the train.

From Platform 2, London Underground, Westbound

to Which Platform?

To Platform 1, London Underground, Eastbound

Go towards the rear of the train and locate the stairs to the concourse, in front of you. Using the right hand set of stairs, go up two flights into the concourse. Turn left then left again to the top of the entrance steps to platform 1. Go down two flights of steps onto the platform, near the front of the train.

To Platform 3, FCC, Southbound

There are four sets of stairs linking these platforms. Ideally you should use the six steps near the west bridge or the third set along from here, as these are the entrances.

To Platform 4, FCC, Northbound

Go towards the front of the train and locate the stairs to the west bridge in front of you. Go up two flights of stairs onto the bridge then turn left. Continue, down a flight of nine steps before turning right, down another and right again (180 degrees) and down another flight to platform level. Turn left onto the platform, you're near the front of the train.

From Platform 3, FCC, Southbound

Ideally, you should use the set of stairs leading away from the bridge, or the fourth set of stairs from the west bridge to reach platform 2, then proceed as per changing from platform 2, described above.

From Platform 4, FCC, Northbound

Go towards the rear of the train and locate the exit to the concourse on your right. There is a gutter across this exit. Turn left and go up two flights of stairs into the concourse and turn left.

To Which Platform?

To Platform 1, London Underground, Eastbound

Continue, following the left-hand side of the concourse, past the steps to platform 2, before turning left to the entrance steps to platform 1. Go down two flights of steps onto the platform, near the front of the train.

To Platform 2, London Underground, Westbound

Take the first turning left and, using the right hand set of stairs, go down two flights onto the platform, you're near the rear of the train.

To Platform 3, FCC, Southbound

Take the first turning left and, using the right hand set of stairs, go down two flights onto platform 2. Continue forward for a few metres, locate the second gap in the wall then turn left then right to go down the eight steps onto the platform, you're in the middle of the train.
