The automatic gates in this station are in a straight line, running approximately north/south,across the concourse.

There is a pillar, in the gate line which divides the gates into two sets

• The five gates towards the north end give access to the Piccadilly Line. In line with the "keep right" direction for this part of the station, the exits are to the north, whilst the entrances are towards the middle of the gate line.
• The eight gates to the south give access to the Jubilee and Victoria Lines. In line with the "keep left" direction for this part of the station, the exits are to the south, whilst the entrances are towards the middle of the gate line.
