The gate line runs across the concourse. There are two sets of gates separated by a central pillar. As you face the gate line, those to your right are for the Jubilee and Victoria lines, whilst to your left are for the Piccadilly Line. If you get it wrong, you can cut across behind the gates, though the crowds may not like it (smile!)

Locate the right hand set of gates. The manual gate is at the right hand end of the gate line, though the automatic entrances are generally towards the left of this set of gates. Go through the gates and continue forward, you're aiming for one of two passages leaving the concourse in front of you. If you find escalators to your right, go left; if you find escalators in front of you, go right.
Go into the passage and turn right. As you need the right hand escalator, you should keep right here. Continue, from the foot of the escalator, along a passage which veers left before you reach the second set of escalators. Again, take the right hand escalator.
Continue forward from the foot of the escalators. For platform 5, northbound, take the first passage on your right, onto the platform. You're towards the front of the train. For platform 6, southbound, take the second or third passage on your left, onto the platform. You're about in the middle of the train.
Move to the left hand set of gates. The manual gate is at the right hand end of this section, next to the entrances. Go through the gates and continue forward to the escalators, which leave from the far left corner of the concourse, in front of you. You need the right hand escalator.
Continue forward from the foot of the escalators. For the westbound, platform 1, continue straight into the passage and follow the wall in front of you to your right, then left onto the platform, you're at the front of the train. For the eastbound, platform 2, cross to your left, then turn right into the passage, follow the wall in front of you to your left, then right onto the platform, you're at the rear of the train.
Move to the right hand set of gates. The manual gate is at the right hand end of the gate line. The entrances are towards the left side of this set of gates.
Go through the gates and turn right. You're aiming for the left hand escalator which leaves from the far right corner of the concourse. Go down the escalator.
Continue forward from the foot of the escalator. For platform 3, northbound, take either the second or third passage to your right onto the platform, you're about in the middle of the train. For platform 4, southbound, take the first passage to your left onto the platform, you're about in the middle of the train.
