From Which Entrance?

From the Bus Station, via the Main Entrance

If you are unfamiliar with the bus route, ask the driver whether you’re in College Road or the bus station. Some buses stop, in College Road, beyond (west of) the bus station, in which case you will need to cross the bus station entrance road before you reach the building.

If the bus stops in College Road, turn left (east) and continue to the end of the bus station building. Bear slightly right, avoiding a post, to locate the end of the railings and cross the bus station exit (keep going straight).

Continue from the Forecourt

If the bus stops in the bus station, get off the bus and turn right (east). Follow the kerb till you reach the railings which curve to the left. Cross the bus station exit road at the end of the railings, the steps to the forecourt are in front of you.

Go up 6 steps, turn right and follow the wall till you reach the corner of the forecourt. Turn left, following the wall. The stairs for the bridge are on your right.

As you leave the cab, cross the pavement and go up six steps onto the forecourt. Continue, following the right-hand side of the forecourt till you reach the steps to the bridge, on your right.

From the Pedestrian Crossing

Having crossed College Road, bear right, (1 o'clock). You're aiming for the slope up to the forecourt. You need to avoid shops and trade stalls to your left. Go up the slope and continue, avoiding trade stalls to your left, towards the steps to the bridge. So long as you're going upwards, you're on track.

Going south, ascend 16 then 15 steps onto the bridge. The gates are on your left, after the ticket sales booth (a Tensa barrier is outside this). Turn left to face the gates, the manual gate is to the left of the entrances.

From the South Entrance

From the car park, go up two flights of steps, going north, onto the bridge and follow the right-hand side to reach the gates. The automatic exits are followed by the entrances, then the manual gate.

Go through the gates, the stairs for platforms 3 and 4 are in front of you, go down two flights of steps onto the platform. Platform 3 is to your right, 4 to your left. You're near the front of the train.

For platform 1 and 2, turn right, go down five steps then turn left. Go down two flights of steps onto the platform. Platform 1 is to your right, you're near the front of the train; platform 2 is to your left, you're near the rear of the train.

For platforms 5 and 6, turn left, go down five steps then turn right and go down two flights of steps onto the platform. Platform 5 is to your right, 6 to your left, you're near the rear of the train.
