The line has two main branches from Edgware and High Barnet, which join at Camden Town. At off peak times trains from Mill Hill East operate a shuttle service to and from Finchley Central, but at peak times some of these are extended to and from Morden (usually via Charing Cross).
Trains from both the Edgware and High Barnet branches then run alternately via Bank (Bank Branch) or Charing Cross (Charing Cross Branch). At off peak times all Charing Cross Branch trains terminate at Kennington whilst bank branch trains continue on to Morden. At peak times many trains on the Charing Cross Branch also continue on to Morden. There is simple cross platform interchange at Kennington in both directions between Bank and Charing Cross Branch trains.
