There are 113 steps from the concourse to platform level. You enter the passage going west from the concourse, descend 19 steps going west before following the outer wall which curves left. You descend 16, 4 x 15, then 16 steps spiralling anti-clockwise to the intermediate level. The other 21 steps are between the intermediate level and the platforms.

The first gap in the wall is the entrance to the intermediate level, which leaves to the west. The outer wall continues to curve round to the exit from the intermediate level, which enters from the east.
