FIND THE EXIT FROM A PLATFORM |
DESCRIBE ONLINE |
Ideally take the passage nearer the front of the train (they are a few metres apart), and continue towards the lifts (on your left).
Note, If you don't find the lifts within a few metres, you're in the wrong passage. It is easiest to go back onto the platform, turn left and take the next passage on your left which will be the correct one.
Note, Also, that the entrance to the lifts has a pillar in the passage, before you reach the doors, whilst the exit has an individual passage from each lift.
Take the passage nearer the rear of the train to locate the exit. Go down a flight of stairs, continue up another before turning left into the lower concourse. Turn left again, into the passage from platform 1, towards the lifts, on your right.
For details of how to operate the lifts, see the "lifts" entry in the FACILITIES section.
Go into the lift. At the top, go out through the same door and turn left, (about 10 o'clock), towards the gates. Go through the gates, follow the wall to the right towards the exit.
Ideally take the passage nearer the rear of the train (they are a few metres apart) and continue till you reach the wall in front of you. If you can only turn right, (you've actually taken the wrong passage) turn right then left to the foot of the stairs. Otherwise, turn left then right.
Take the passage nearer the rear of the train to locate the exit. Go down a flight of stairs, continue, up another then turn left into the lower concourse. Continue to the wall, in front of you, before turning left, then right to the foot of the stairs.
Continue up the stairs (97 in all) going anti-clockwise and follow the passage into the main concourse. There is an exit gate in front of you, just to your right of the Station Supervisor's office. Go through this gate and continue forwards towards the exit.
Continue up a flight of stairs. At the top, you can either turn right or left before going up another flight of stairs to street level.
