From Circle and District to Piccadilly From Piccadilly to Circle and District Between Northbound and Southbound Piccadilly |
There are two sets of stairs down from the middle of the island platform 1 - 2, towards the rear of the westbound, (front of the eastbound) trains. Whichever you choose, you go down two flights of stairs into a passage, which is the intermediate level of the station. Turn away from the wall, at the foot of the stairs and follow the passage to the end then turn right. Continue forwards to the escalators and take the left hand escalator.

Continue forwards, from the foot of the escalator and go down a flight of stairs. Continue, moving to your left into the recess, to the wall then turn right. This passage brings you onto the platform, about in the middle of the train.
From the foot of the escalator, bear right and take the second passage to your right. If you find a flight of steps going down, you've gone too far, turn right, go to the wall and locate the passage you need, a little way to your right.
Go up one flight of steps onto the platform, you're about in the middle of the train.

From Platform 3, Westbound From Platform 4, Eastbound |
The exit is the first passage from the rear of the train, being about half way along the platform. Take this passage and turn left, up the stairs.
If you take the wrong passage, follow it round to your left, to the foot of the stairs. You should take the left hand side of the stairs.
The exit is the first passage from the front of the train, being about half way along the platform. Take this passage, go down a flight of stairs and turn left. If you take the wrong passage, you'll have to go a bit further to reach the escalator.
Take the left hand escalator, to the intermediate level. At the top, continue to the end and turn left. Follow the passage and take either set of stairs up onto the island platform. If you turned right, platform 1, westbound is to your right, you're near the rear of the train. Platform 2, eastbound is to your left, you're near the front of the train.
This section is included since the westbound, platform 3, runs beneath the eastbound, platform 4.

From Westbound to Eastbound From Eastbound to Westbound |
The exit from this platform is the first passage from the rear of the train, being about half way along the platform. Take this passage, then turn left. Go up a flight of stairs and take the first turning left. Go up another flight of stairs onto the platform, you're about in the middle of the train.
If you take the wrong passage, go to the end and turn left to the stairs, then take the left hand set of stairs.
The exit from this platform is the first passage from the front of the train, being about half way along the platform. Take this passage, go down a flight of stairs and continue to the wall in front of you. Turn right and go down another flight of stairs, follow the left hand wall, which retreats to your left and continue to the wall in front of you. Turn right here and go onto the platform, you're about in the middle of the train.
If you take the wrong passage, you'll be nearer the top of the stairs to your right.
