This is a through station on the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines which run approximately northwest/southeast through the station. The station is located just before (southeast of) the point where the Jubilee Line branches towards Stanmore, whilst the Metropolitan Line continues northwest towards Harrow-on-the-Hill and beyond.
There are six platforms, running northwest/southeast, numbered 1 to 6 from the southwest. Of these, platforms 1 and 6 are separate platforms, running along the sides of the station, whilst platforms 2 - 3 and 4 - 5 are island platforms.
These platforms serve:
The concourse consists of the original concourse which bridges the tracks, which has been extended to the northwest to accommodate lifts to all platforms and to the southwest to provide a much extended gate line with greatly improved access to the Stadium.
A second bridge, which we call the north bridge, links all platforms, about in the middle. The route from the platform 1 end of this bridge towards the Stadium has now been incorporated into the concourse.
There is stairs and lift access throughout this station, plus step-free access to Bridge Road. We therefore believe the station is accessible to Guide Dog and wheelchair users.
