Warhammer Necromunda -pöytäroolipeli Julkistettu Uudessa Synkänpimeässä Sovituksessa

Games Workshop has revealed a new way to explore the hive world’s underbelly: Warhammer Necromunda Roleplay, a miniatures-driven tabletop roleplaying game set amid bounty hunts, shifting loyalties, and the everyday brutality of the Underhive.

Unveiled during the Big Autumn Preview stream, the announcement positions Roleplay alongside the recently branded Necromunda: Skirmish, clarifying that the classic gang-fight box experience is now only one part of a broader Necromunda offering.

From gang clashes to guided missions

According to the reveal, players take on the roles of bounty-hunting Venators who accept jobs assigned by an Arbitrator, effectively the game master. In the new format, investigations and narrative decisions lead into tabletop firefights that still feel recognisably Necromunda, but now framed by character-led progression rather than gang management alone. Mid-campaign, the official Warhammer Community preview page emphasises compatibility with the wider Necromunda miniature range.

“Warhammer Necromunda Roleplay offers completely different ways to explore the underhive, and you’ll soon learn that it’s a large and dangerous place with much more to see and be killed by than just gang battles.”

What’s in the Core Set

The Core Set is described as including 18 new plastic miniatures and a 224-page core rulebook featuring lore, character creation, advancement, and guidance for the Arbitrator, plus two complete adventures.

Playmats and quick-reference handouts support the game’s tabletop focus, while the dice mix (including D10 and D100 alongside familiar Necromunda staples) signals a system built for both narrative outcomes and tactical resolution.

Availability and where Finnish players may look next

Games Workshop has not yet confirmed a firm release date or pricing, stating that the Core Set and the first journal will be available “soon.”

For Finnish hobbyists tracking Necromunda product lines while they wait, beginning with Fantasiapelit’s Games Workshop catalogue pages can be a practical way to monitor local listings, while many players also keep an eye on broader ranges and community updates via Warhammer Digital’s Necromunda rules library as the Roleplay rollout approaches.
