Via Stairs

Go towards the front of the train and go up two flights of steps into the Earl’s Court Road concourse. Continue forward, around the lifts in front of you, to the gate line. There’s a Wide Aisle Gate at each end of the gate line and, we understand the automatic gate you need is towards the left-hand end. When through the gates, continue to the far (east) side of the concourse. You can now go up the eight steps to street level and continue (east) through the exit into Earl’s Court Road. Alternatively, you can use the ramp to your left (north) of the foot of the steps. The ramp goes up (east), turn left (north) then right (180 degrees, south). Turn left at the top and continue through the exit into Earl’s Court Road.

Via the Lift

Locate the lift between the two stairwells to the Piccadilly Line and go up to concourse level. Turn left from the lift and then turn right along the high level walkway. Turn right at the end, then left again, after a few metres to avoid the lift shaft, into the concourse. Continue to the gate line. The doors will open on your right as you face the front of the train. You should use the lifts, entered from the first passage from the east end of the platforms, which is actually about in the middle of the trains. This can be identified by locating the two lift entrances on the west (right-hand side when you come from the eastbound, platform 5) and the emergency stairs on the east side of this passage. The second passage, which you don’t want, just has the exits from the lifts on the east (left-hand side as you come from the eastbound, platform 5). The other passage from platform 6 (two passages from platform 5) lead to escalators to the intermediate level.

We suggest you start near the front of the eastbound (rear of the westbound) train and move westwards to locate the first passage which you enter and locate one of the lifts. Go up to concourse level and leave via the same door (heading east. From here you have level access to the Warwick Road exit, whilst you’ll need to go up eight steps or the ramp to reach Earl’s Court Road.
