THE EAST CORRIDOR |

The corridor to the lifts to platforms 1 to 4 and 6 and 7 leaves between Spa and Upper Crust.
Note that, although signs suggest that this passage leads to toilets, these are on the platforms, with the exception of the disabled persons toilet which is on the left (east) side of the corridor.
The ticket barrier across the north end of the corridor is a central fixed rail with a gap at each end.
At the far (south) end of this corridor, is a normally closed door which can be opened by staff on request at the barrier, or from the car park, at the end of the main (west) corridor.

This is blocked by a roller metal door, usually shut.

The wall veers right 45 degrees, then another 45 degrees to restore the original line of the west wall.
