The major terminal station for all National Rail services is Liverpool Lime Street. This station also lies on the one way loop through central Liverpool served by most, but not all trains on the Liverpool Underground.
The second main station is Liverpool Central, which is served exclusively by all trains on the Liverpool Underground.
