Overview

This is an island terminus platform running approximately west with platform 7 lying south of platform 8. There's tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

To Reach

These platforms can be reached from the Bank Concourse via the passage towards exits 8 and 9, or via the passage leading west from the Intermediate Level.

Note that there's a gate line across the route from the Bank Concourse, whilst that from the Intermediate level is already inside the gates.

From the Bank Concourse

You leave the Bank Concourse going north then turn left (west) just before the Grab a Bite kiosk. There's a help point on the right-hand (north) wall, whilst in front of you, from the right (north):

The Walkway

As you go west, you go down eight times five, then 11 steps, going west.

The exit gates are in front of you, turn right (north) for the entrances.

Go through the gates, going west, onto platform 8.

From the Intermediate Level

• From the top of the escalators from the DLR, take the first turning left
• from the steps from the Northern Line, take the furst turning let, continue past the lift then the top of the escalators from the DLR then turn right and take the first turning left
• from the foot of the exit steps from the Central Line, continue to the end of the short passage, turn right then take the turning left into the main passage then take the turning right

Continue up a slight slope, along a long, wide passage onto the east end of platform 7.
