FIND AN EXIT FROM A PLATFORM |
DESCRIBE ONLINE |
There is escalator and lift access between the platforms and the Ticket Hall. There is also escalator and lift access to each exit from the Ticket Hall. See the Environs page for details of the exits from this station.
The doors will open on your right as you face the front of the train. There's a barrier along the edge of each platform with doors that are only open whilst a train is standing at the platform.
The lift is off the rear end of platform 2, eastbound. There are four pairs of escalators from the platforms to the Ticket Hall plus another escalator at the east end which was not in use at the time of our survey. We've numbered these pairs of escalators 1 to 4 from the front of westbound trains.
Escalators 1 to 3 go towards the West, North and South exits whilst escalators 4 go towards the East Exit. Note that, during peak evening times, escalators 1 and 2 become entrance only, so only escalators 3 can be used as exits in this direction. Note also that the East Exit is often closed at weekends.
At other times, the right-hand escalator of each pair is normally the one you need.
