PLATFORMS 6 AND 8 |

This is an island platform running east/west with platform 6, serving eastbound Central Line services lying south of platform 8. Note that platform 8 extends some distance west of the beginning of platform 6.
There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

Note there is no lift access to these platforms from the East Subway.
There are two sets of steps, one up east, the other west.
Take the second turning right from the foot of the steps from the West Concourse then go up 13, 12 then 12 steps, going east to the platform. There's no real tactile paving at the top or bottom of these steps. At the top, platform 6, Central Line is to your right, platform 8 to your left, we believe you're near the rear of the train.
Take the second turning on your left from the foot of the steps from the West Concourse, just beyond the lift. You go up 11, 11 then 11 steps, going west. At the top, platform 8 is to your right, we believe you're near the rear of the train. Turn right (180 degrees) then continue past the stairwell, then beyond the lift and barrier on your right to reach the beginning of platform 6.
There is one set of steps, going up east from this subway. Take the second turning on your right from the foot of the ramp from the East Concourse, then go up nine, eight then nine steps, going east. Platform 6 is to your right, platform 8 to your left. We believe you're about in the middle of the train.
You go up three x nine steps, going west. There's no tactile paving at the top or bottom of these steps. Platform 6 is to your left, platform 8 to your right, we believe you're near the front of the train.
