Within the mainline concourse, platforms are numbered 1 - 19 from left to right as you face the platforms. platforms 1 - 18 share island platforms whilst platform 19 runs along the current right-hand side of the station, beside the former Eurostar section.

The Waterloo & City Line can be reached via exit 2 from the low level concourse, exit 7 in the mainline concourse, or from the mainline concourse via the Underground concourse.

This provides level access from Station Approach Road into the mainline concourse. As you enter the concourse, you're facing across the entrances of the platforms, the entrance to platforms 1 - 2 is the first turning left.
This provides level access from the taxi rank on Station Approach into the mainline concourse. You're opposite platform 4.
From the low level from Waterloo Road or the Jubilee Line, there is escalator or lift access to the mainline concourse and stairs access to the Waterloo &: City Line.
As you move away from Waterloo Road, you pass the retail outlets to your left before you reach the far side of the lower concourse. In front of you, from left to right, you have:
The pair of escalators to your right of these were both downward at the time of our survey. Go to the mainline concourse. You're about opposite platform 4.
Go up the steps, to your right of the escalators, into the passage which turns right then left. Continue, down two flights of steps then follow the passage to the wall in front of you. From here you can take either of two ramps down onto the departure platform. The first turning right brings you near the rear of the train, whilst the second brings you near the front. In either case, you move right into a recess then continue forward, down the ramp then turn right onto the platform.
This provides level access from Station Approach into the mainline concourse. You enter about opposite platform 13.
Note this was originally the road entrance through the concourse.
From Tenison Way, you go down two flights of steps into the subway then continue to the escalators. The right-hand escalator is normally the one you need. Go up into the mainline concourse. You're opposite the former Eurostar section.
From Station Approach,you go up two flights of steps into the mainline concourse. You're opposite the former Eurostar section.

You enter the mainline concourse at the top end, beyond the former Eurostar section. Continue forward till you reach the rear of the well around the escalators to the Underground station.
Strictly speaking, this isn't an entrence/exit to the station, but merely a route to/from the Waterloo & City Line. We merely include this paragraph for completeness as this is numbered as an exit within the station.
