There is no tactile paving along the edge of the platforms.
Since this is the first station out from Charing Cross, we'll assume that people entering the station will need the outbound platforms A and C, whilst those leaving will have arrived on the inbound platforms B and D. In the less likely event that you won't do this, note that:

You can leave the concourse via escalator, stairs or lift. If you use the escalator, the left-hand one is normally the one you need. If you use the stairs, you're asked to use the left-hand set. Go up to the foot bridge.
The lift is to your right of the right-hand set of stairs, the call button is to your left of the door. Inside the lift, the controls are on the near left-hand side as you enter. Go to the upper level, turn left then right onto the foot bridge.
Continue, over the foot bridge, which veers right before you reach the entrance to the station. Turn left at the end of the foot bridge, into the concourse.
If you need a ticket, there are ticket machines to your right and the enquiries and ticket sales desk is to your left.
Take the first turning right for platform C, the second for platform A.
Continue, down the ramp, onto the platform. The platform you need is to your right, you're near the rear of the train.

As you move away from the exit from Southwark Underground Station, the steps to platform D are behind you to your left and the subway to other platforms is in front of you (about 11 o'clock). Bear left and continue into the subway. Take the first turning left for platform C, continue forward, up five steps then turn left for platform A.
Go up two flights of steps to platform level. The platform you need is to your left, you're near the front of the train.
As you move away from the junction with Waterloo Road/Mepham Street, the entrance is on your left, after a few metres. You turn left, up one step, then left and right to the foot of the steps up to the foot bridge, 78 more steps in all. See the Environs page for details of these stairs.
At the top of the stairs, turn right then left, into the concourse.
